WORLD MALOSSI DAY: Gladiators on two wheels

The finale of Trofei Malossi's 30th season, held at Vallelunga (RM), turned into a spectacular and thrilling show: with over 100 riders on track and perfect weather conditions, the recipe for a weekend to remember, and the protagonists lived up to the hype, engaging in endless passing moves.
In the Trofeo Nazionale Scooter Velocità , Consoli took the title despite finishing in the back twice due to technical issues and racing contacts. Ripepi, twice second, took the combined ranking ahead of ScooterMan and Frenchman Riscles. Bonomo, on the other hand, made history in the World Malossi Day Cup, where he took the third title in a row ahead of the Marino brothers.
In the ScooterMatic final, Melone emerged victorious for the fourth time but Paduano stole the show in the one-off race ahead of Riscles and Filippo Marino for a podium that represents all the leagues of Trofei Malossi: South, North and Sicily. Paduano also won the Regioni South title and final race ahead of Galbiati and Eboli.

As for the four-stroke categories, Rapicavoli was back to winning ways in the TMax Cup after a long hiatus due to an injury, preceding Guerra and Pistola (who won the 2017 title) in both races.
Minischetti, the reigning champion in the SuperScooter 4Stroke class, sealed the second title in a row in style, taking a double win ahead of Adinolfi and Kishida. In the SprintMatic class, the novelty of 2017 with Vespas directly prepared by Malossi staff, Filippo Marino became the fifth winner in as many rounds preceding Toschi and Pantaleo.
Trofei Malossi will be at the EICMA fair in Milan (November 7-12) to present all the news ahead of a new, exciting season.
